If you remember a few weeks ago I reviewed the Bud Light Lime Lime-a-rita because maybe if we put enough limes in the name people will forgive it not tasting like a real margarita. But my biggest surprise with the Lime-a-rita was the presence of tequila taste without the tequila. After me and my friends took out the Lime-a-ritas, it was time to try the other flavor.
The also awfully named: Bud Light Lime Straw-ber-rita.
Surprisingly, no tequila flavor here. It should just be Budweiser strawberry malt beverage. Seriously, this shit doesn't taste like alcohol. Its like strawberry kool aid. Over ice, it tastes like kids (you know the blended type that has no actual juice in) juice. It tastes nothing like a margarita whatsoever.
But its still delicious. Its a nice summer drink, once again with the convenience of just popping a can and pouring rather than mixing a bunch of shit together. If you dont like tasting your alcohol, this is definitely a drink for you. It packs an 8% punch just like the Lime-a-rita so each one is about like 2 beers. Give it a shot if you like this kind of stuff. Yes it's short. There's nothing more that needs to be said about this.
